NXT|Cohort 11 is a six-month accelerator for founder-led companies in the Charlotte region that are ready to grow their next chapter. The eight selected companies will receive concentrated support across three key areas: Capital. Capability. Community.
Through the program, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to strengthen their businesses, expand their capabilities, build meaningful connections, and access resources that can help position their companies for sustainable growth.

Program Overview
NXT | CLT was set up to mentor and promote existing emerging businesses engaged in private sector development projects. We ensure every business we cater to has the latest and right tools to successfully run and outperform its competitors. We strive to help small enterprises move towards sustainable growth through leadership development, increased business revenues, procurement activities, and internal/external workforce development. NXT | CLT Office of Small Business Development focuses on building capacity for SBE firms and includes the following engagements:

Cohort companies can pitch into a $50,000 grant pool based on demonstrated need, along with exposure to Charlotte's investor community.
CAPABILITY
Hands-on support built around your business.
Work with operators who have built and scaled companies through advising, coaching, workshops, and a curriculum shaped around the real businesses in the cohort.
COMMUNITY
Build alongside founders who take the work seriously.
Join a peer network of eight founders, supported by advisors and NXT|CLT alumni across Charlotte.

NXT|Cohort is designed for emerging developed, founder-led companies that have built real traction and are ready to grow.
REQUIREMENTS
Firms applying to NXT | CLT must meet the following requirements:

$250,000+ in annual revenues

One other employee besides the business owner(s)

Been in business for at least 3+ years

Must have its headquarters in Charlotte
We will engage each participant in the following NXT | CLT activities:

Action Learning Development Sessions
The duration of the program is six (6) months, followed by additional post-program touchpoints and reporting requirements. All participants applying to NXT | CLT must be willing to adhere to and meet all necessary appointments, meetings, workshops, and program evaluations.
